In October 2013, EFA and its Members launched a Manifesto for the European Parliament elections, that reached many and moblised more than 1,000 people from 29 different countries to publicly support EFA’s policy asks. More than 40 candidates to the elections visited the dedicated website (http://manifesto.efanet.org/) signed and 28 were actually elected.
EFA wishes to warmly thank all signatories that supported our EFA Manifesto to improve health among people with allergy and airways diseases. We would specially thank EFA Members and patients all over Europe, as well as all the policy-makers listed below for their willingness to drive an EU strategy on chronic diseases, invest more in prevention and ensure equal access to healthcare for Europeans with allergy and airways diseases.
Congratulations to the ones that have been (re-)elected as Members of the new European Parliament, we will be delighted to work with you.
