EFA Member ABBA (Association of Bulgarians with Bronchial Asthma, Allergy and COPD) was invited to participate on a live show on national TV Channel 7. ABBA’s president Diana Hadzhiangelova talked about the European and national policies that currently affect respiratory chronic diseases and lung conditions in Bulgaria. Bulgaria is one of darkest EU points in Europe in terms of air quality and the situation is gravely affecting all citizens, especially those living with allergies and respiratory conditions. She highlighted Bulgarian National Programme for prevention and control of pulmonary and allergic diseases but called the Government to start implementing policies to reduce emissions.
