On the 15th of September, EFA Members travelled to Brussels to participate in a face-to-face meeting of the EFA Asthma and Allergy Working Group. The meeting took place just before the EARIP event organised by EFA at the European Parliament on how to curve down asthma in Europe with national programmes.
Members discussed outcomes from EFA's own project and EU funded projects on asthma and allergy, as well as policy developments related to these diseases, such as the European Parliament Interest Group on Allergy and Asthma. They also discussed the unmet needs of patients with asthma and allergy and they identified education and training as the most pressing topics to be improved through projects and awareness raising campaigns.
