The European Respiratory Society (ERS) and the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ) are looking for information to understand how people with a lung condition are currently cared for during pregnancy. The European Lung Foundation has helped healthcare professionals putting up a survey addressed to patients with lung conditions, including asthma and COPD, to provide anonymously their experiences on family planning and pregnancy.

The results of the patient survey will help to inform a  “Position statement for the management of reproduction and pregnancy in women with airways diseases” – which will be key in defining better care, more information and peer support.

At the end of the survey, participants wishing to be updated on the results have the chance to give their email address in a separate website, to guarantee the survey is anomynous.

The survey is available online here and will be accessible until Monday 14 May, 2018.
