EFA member Czech Associations against Lung Diseases, ČOPN, carried out several activities around World COPD Day 2019. In out-patient departments and department stores all over the country, spirometry tests have been carried out to raise awareness for the disease. In total 1350 persons have been examined – with 12 % abnormal findings. Further, the activities around World COPD Day have been pushed by a press conference and a broad information campaign in radio, TV and press.
Moreover, on November 22nd, the traditional COPD conference for patients and health care workers had been held in Prague.
