The Director of Dutch EFA member Longfonds, Michael Rutgers, has been named the most influential player in Dutch philanthropy for 2020-2021 by Philanthropy opinion magazine De Dikke Blauwe.
The annual list recognises those who make important contributions in philanthropy through innovative and special administrative qualities. Rutgers is recognised as a “connector, innovator and driver in the world of charities”, while Longfonds has developed into “a modern charity organization that consistently puts the mission - healthy air for everyone and eliminating lung diseases from the world - central in all its activities.”
