EFA and the European Lung Foundation (ELF) have launched a Europe-wide survey to understand how people with severe asthma feel about the tools available to monitor asthma.

This survey is part of as part of ‘3TR’, a European project which looks at ways to improve disease management and personalised therapy in seven diseases, including asthma and COPD.

Who can take part?

 The survey is for:

  • Severe asthma patients aged 11 years or more
  • Parents or carers of a person with severe asthma who is 6 years of age or above.

The 15-minute survey is available in 14 European languages: Bulgarian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, French, English, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Swedish and Turkish. If you have severe asthma and are also a parent or carer of someone with severe asthma, you can complete the survey twice, once for yourself and once for the person you care for.

The survey is available here.

You can also share the survey with people you know using promotional materials available in the above 14 languages here.

The survey will be open until the beginning of January.

Who developed the survey?

This survey was developed by a group of patient representatives, healthcare professionals, researchers from the 3TR project, ELF, and EFA.

If you are an asthma/COPD patient or caregiver willing to participate in similar initiatives in the near future, you are welcome to participate in the 3TR Respiratory Patient Working Group.
