Greetings from the EFA Board who held their meeting on the 19^th of September in Brussels. Please save the date and venue of our next AGM and network meeting in your diary: the 31^st of May to the 1^st of June 2013 in Rome, Italy, invited by Associazione Italiana Pazienti BPCO. This month the Board discussed a draft paper on strategic priorities for 2013 and reviewed the excellent progress of our work plan this year. EFA is organising an alignment meeting with Portuguese patient associations on asthma and COPD in October, following a very useful meeting with Spanish patient groups earlier this year. The EFA educational workshop for EFA member country delegations on the subject of the Finnish Allergy Programme will take place on the 8^th and 9^th of November in Helsinki, hosted by the Finnish Allergy and Asthma Federation. The Board also reviewed the members’ intranet test site on our brand new website and received an update on EU policy. The next board meeting will take place on the 29^th of October in Brussels.
