Eating safely: round-table on European best practices on allergens labelling ahead of the entry into force of the Food Information to Consumers regulation
On 24th September, from 15h00 to 17h30, 2014 EFA, together with the European Academy of Allergy and Clinical Immunology is organising an event at the European Parliament, hosted by Member of European Parliament Renate Sommer (Germany) at Room 6 Q 1.
The event was aimed to: - discuss the novelties introduced by the new EU regulation on the provision of food information to consumers (enters into force from December 2014); - present best practices adopted by Member States on the way they inform consumers on allergens in non pre-packed food; - give an overview of key topics in the field of food allergy. From EFA, we wish to thank all the more than 60 participants in this event, especially MEP Renate Sommer and co-organiser EAACI. We are looking forward to further collaborate with you all in the future. Check here the official report. Check here the final programme.
