On May 4, the SEPAR (Spanish Thoracic Scientific Society) and FENAER (Spanish Federation of Respiratory Diseases Associations) presented to the scientific societies and the press the GEMA Guide 4.0 (Spanish Guide Asthma Management).
FENAER has had a major role in writing and editing of this asthma guide for professionals, providing the perspective of patients living with this disease. It is the very first a patient association co-authors such a publication in Spain.
During the official presentation, FENAER Vice President Ms. Soledad Alonso gave her testimony as a severe asthma patient explaining how it is possible to live an active life with this disease and be engaged to help other patients.
