From the 19th to the 27th of August, EFA Senior Advisor and Young Gasteiner Roberta Savli took part in the Summer School in European Health Care and Social Systems in Transition organised by the Medical University of Vienna in the framework of the European Forum Alpbach. In 2015, the Forum celebrated its 70th anniversary and brought together scientists, politicians and artists to discuss how to reduce inequalities in Europe.
The Summer School gathered 25 young professionals interested in public health and focused on integrated care, social determinants of health and electronic health among other topics. This year's topic was in line with EFA's newest objective of reducing health inequalities within and between EU Member States for people suffering from asthma, allergy and COPD.
