14 European countries support together systems medicine projects
EFA’s Susanna Palkonen participated the second meeting of the Scientific Advisory Board of the ‘ERACoSysMed’, Collaboration on systems medicine funding to promote the implementation of systems biology approaches in clinical research and medical practice in Rome. ERACoSysMed is the first Systems Medicine oriented ERA-NET under Horizon 2020. These ‘ERA-NETs’ are composed of those countries that wish to support together so-called demonstrator projects, here projects that show how systems medicine can deliver better an dmore effective patient centred care than what we currently have. Projects are co-funded by the EC Horizon 2020 programme. The first call for project sin now over and winning projects will soon be notified. In Rome, there was also a workshop to brainstorm with experts on the key topics on the next call. EPF Training Module on Strategic Communication
On the 21-23rd September, Jelena Malinina, EFA EU Policy and Membership Officer, together with other 9 patients’ organisations, participated in the communication training organised within the Capacity Building Programme of the European Patients’ Forum, to strengthen our communications capacity.
