On the 5th of November, EFA Senior EU Policy Advisor Roberta Savli took part in the last Policy Advisory Group meeting of the United4Health project.
The project is partially funded under the ICT Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP) as part of the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme by the European Commission. It aims at assessing the use of telehealth technologies for patients suffering from congestive heart failure, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), diabetes and hypertension. The final conference of the project with policy recommendations for EU, national and local policy-makers will take place at the beginning of December.
EFA contributed to these recommendations through the involvement of our Patients' Education and COPD Working Group members, ensuring that the voice of patients was heard and their needs taken into account when designing and using telehealth technologies for their care.
