On the 21st of March, EFA attended a meeting organised by the Patient Access Partnership (PACT) to ensure access to care is high on the European agenda.
PACT is a patient-led network to reduce inequities in access to quality healthcare, and it brings together patients, the medical and public health community, industry and the European and national institutions.
During the meeting, PACT leaders gave an overview of the European Parliaments’ political groups’ recommendations for better access to medicines, as well as the potential activities of PACT. In 2016, PACT will organize several events at the European Parliament and the conference “Cooperation within the Region: a way to improve access to quality healthcare in Central and Eastern Europe”, that will celebrated in June in Bulgaria.
