This follows the creation within the European Commission of a broader working group formed by patients and consumers, healthcare providers, payers, and industry, of which EFA is an official stakeholder. In the last Commission HTA meeting Mr François Houÿez from EURORDIS will represent the patients and Ms Francesca Cattarin from BEUC will represent the consumers. Both of them will consult the patients and consumers community before each meeting.
