MyAirCoach, EFA’s smart inhaler project, has been recognised as an instrument that “provides better ways of treating asthma and helps scientists understand what is driving this growing global epidemic” by the European Comission’s EU Research and Innovation Magazine, Horizon.
According to the publication, myAirCoach can change healthcare professionals difficulties to understand what is triggering asthma attacks and how patients are taking their medication. This is possible thanks to myAirCoach’s combination of an asthma inhaler with a range of sensors and mobile technology.
