Our Susanna Palkonen was recently invited to take part in the Human Brain Project (HBP) Clinical Advisory Board, as someone coming from a completely different field. HBP is the biggest health project funded by European Commission and it is interesting to see how the ‘brain’ community has been able to organise around one big project and platform to advance the science both for clinical, basic and technology purposes in the quest of understanding the brain.
The brain research can also help us to understand better key issues for EFA like adherence. Susanna emphasised patient involvement during the HPB Summit in Glasgow. The advance of the project is available in summary in the press release of the Summit.
